Much like normal golf, Disc Golf consists of 18 holes, but instead of using clubs and balls, players use a flying disc or Frisbee® to complete each hole. Each hole consists of a target with a certain par, where players strive to get the lowest amount of throws to make it to said target while throwing though the various trees, shrubs and terrain. Beaumont's two courses reside at Tyrrell Park and Klein Park.
At Tyrrell Park, players can bring their own Frisbee® or flying disc to play, or can borrow or buy one from the Tyrrell Park Nature Center gift shop. Play the course throughout the park near the Beaumont Botanical Gardens and Warren Loose Conservatory, Tyrrell Park Stables and Cattail Marsh, while enjoying the scenery around you.

Most of the architectural and building details in the Chambers house are elements that would have been found in other houses built along Calder Avenue during a time in Beaumont when both timber and oil were highly successful industries bringing major growth to the area. Most of these houses are gone now, with the remaining few having had significant changes to their façades. The Chambers house stands as nearly the sole survivor to tell the tale and is a fine example of what life was like for an upper-middle-class family in a city that rapidly changed through two successful industries centered around the natural resources of the area. Not only does the home still stand, but an enormous amount of personal items are contained within telling the story of daily life in a time long past.
